Orange

A fruit rich in cancer fighting compounds, such as carotenoids, flavonoids and terpenes. It is also rich in vitamin C, beta-carotene, folate and fiber. It may be helpful against asthma, atherosclerosis, breast and stomach cancer and bronchitis.
Caution: Oranges contain oxalic acid, and persons with calcium-oxalate stones should restrict their intake. Some people are allergic to oranges, especially to the peels, and they may aggravate heartburn symptoms in others.
