Bee pollen

Function
Honeybee pollen consists of highly concentrated raw nutrients. It is considered to be the only nutritionally complete food known to humanity. It contains significant amounts of protein, carbohydrates and fatty acids, all major vitamins and bioflavonoids, minerals, and plant steroids regarded as stimulants of the glands that produce sex hormones. Hence the reputation of bee pollen as an aphrodisiac.

Uses
It has been used successfully to treat endocrine and nervous disorders, prostate problems, and to speed up recovery after physical exertion. It must be taken fresh, as it may lose 75 percent of its nutrients in a single year.
