COUSCOUS PEAR CREAM

Ingredients:
1 2/3 cups boiling water
2/3 cup couscous (fine semolina made from wheat grain)
1/4 cup toasted wheat germ
1/4 cup wheat bran
1/4 cup black currants (unsulfured)
2 ripe pears, cored and pureed wit skin in blender
Cinnamon
Recipe:
1. Place boiling water in a bowl then add couscous, wheat germ, wheat bran and currants.
2. Leave to stand until all liquid is absorbed. If mixture seems too dry, add a little more boiling water.
3. Puree the pears and combine them with the couscous.
4. Stir well and serve in individual bowls.
5. Sprinkle with cinammon.
