STARCH-FREE BREAD

Ingredients:
3 cups ground raw almonds (consistency of flour)
1/4 cup toasted wheat germ
2 Tbs. baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 egg whites, beaten stiff
Recipe:
1. Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl.
2. Fold egg whites into nut mixture.
3. Spoon batter into greased loaf pan. Sprinkle top with chopped almonds if you like.
4. Bake in a preheated 375 F/190 C oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown on top.
5. Cool before carefully cutting into slices.
Serves:
1 large loaf
