TOFU FRY

Ingredients:
2/3 cups very firm low-fat tofu (1% fat), cut into small cubes
1/4 cup wheat germ
2 Tbs. olive or canola oil
Recipe:
1. Toss tofu cubes into bowl with wheat germ.
2. Heat oil and fry tofu cubes until golden brown.
3. Carefully remove tofu cubes from pan and place on absorbent paper.

Notes:
Serving suggestion: Excellent as brunch or a light lunch when served hot with lettuce leaves and tomato slices. Fat content: The oil used for frying gives a high fat content to this recipe
