Ingredients:
1/3 cup ground raw almonds (consistency of flour)
1/2 cup ground sunflower seeds
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2/3 cup finely chopped mushrooms (blended in food processor until
almost a pulp)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 Tbs. finely chopped parsley
2 Tbs. lemon juice
1 Tbs. low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 tsp. powdered garlic
1/4 tsp. dry oregano
1/4-1/2 tsp. salt
Pinch of black pepper
1/4 cup raw wheat germ
4 Tbs. olive or canola oil

Recipe:
1. Combine all ingredients (except wheat germ and oil) in a bowl and mix well.
2. Shape into patties, coat with wheat germ and fry in hot oil until golden brown on each side.

Serving suggestion:
Serve burgers with tomato and onion slices. Nutburgers are also delicious served hot or cold with a lettuce salad. Try them also barbecued or grilled for less fat.
