2 top round steaks (3 oz. each, lean only)
2 Tbs. olive or canola oil
1/2 medium onion, chopped
2 shallots, chopped
2 Tbs. chopped parsley
1/2 cup red wine
Salt and pepper
1. Grill steak for 10 minutes on each side (medium rare), a few minutes more if you prefer it well done.
2. Prepare sauce as follows: saute onion, shallots and parsley inoliveoil until onion is transparent.
3. Add red wine and cook over a high flame, stirring continuously.
4. Lower flame and simmer until sauce thickens.
5. Add salt andpepper to taste.
6. Pour sauce oversteakandserve immediately.
