BEEFSTEAK CACCIATORE

Ingredients:

1 thick rump steak, cut into serving pieces
1 tablespoon olive or salad oil
2 tablespoons cooking sherry
1/2 clove garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon tomato concentrate
1 small glass red wine
1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
Recipe:
1. Fry steak in oil and season well.
2. Remove from pan and keep hot.
3. Pour sherry and red wine into pan,
scraping well to loosen gravy.
4. Cook until thick and much reduced then add garlic, tomato concentrate and fennel seeds.
5. Cook another minute and serve steak with the gravy poured over it.
