Ingredients:
1 bunch fresh asparagus (about 2 pounds/900g)
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons olive oil

Recipe:
1. Wash asparagus. Cut off tough ends; remove scales. Scrub stalks thoroughly or peel off outer skin.
2. Cook in rapidly boiling salted water about 20 minutes or until partially tender.
3. Place in baking dish. Pour oil over asparagus; pepper lightly.
4. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
5. Place in hot oven (450 F/230 C) for about 10 minutes or until cheese turns slightly brown.
6. Serve very hot.
