FLATULENCE

An accumulation of gas in the digestive tract causing release of gas from the mouth or anus, and bloatedness. Eating slowly, small meals, and avoiding drinking water with meals can help.

Diet:
Try not to combine proteins with starchy carbohydrates, eat smaller meals at regular hours, and eat slowly, chewing foods well. Avoid beans, carbonated drinks and allergenic foods.

Nutrients:
Garlic, acidophilus.

Herbs:
Aloe vera juice, triphala. Chew cloves or caraway seeds, drink peppermint or chamomile tea.
