Severe pain with a sensation of constriction about the heart, caused by a deficiency of oxygen supply to the heart muscle, usually caused by the narrowing of the arteries.
Diet:
Decrease foods high in saturated fats such as red meat, butter, dairy products. Increase dietary fiber, consumption of fish, olive oil, vegetables and fruit. Stop smoking, avoid stress, and walk at least half an hour every day.
