Joint inflammation often accompanied by pain, swelling, and not infrequently a change of joint structure. A chronic, usually progressive disorder which affects the whole body and is generally believed to be due to an antigen/antibody reaction.
Diet:
Avoid eating too many plants of the night-shade family like potatoes, green peppers, egg-plant and tomatoes. Limit intake of red meat, sugars, citrus fruits, and salt. Avoid dairy products, salty or pickled foods, fried foods. Check for food allergies.
