LEGIONNAIRE’S DISEASE

A severe often fatal disease, caused by bacteria of Legionella pneumonophila, first identified in an American Legion convention in 1976. Bacteria are found in excavations and freshly plowed soil. Symptoms include chills, headache, high fever, coughing, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. Rapid progress.

Diet:
Eat 75% raw foods. Avoid alcohol, dairy products, fried foods, sugar, tobacco.

Nutrients:
Beta-carotene, vitamins C, A, E, B complex, L-carnitine, L-cysteine, zinc.

Herbs:
Echinacea, eucalyptus, goldenseal.
