MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS

A progressive inflammatory degenerative disease of the nervous system where the myelin sheaths of nerves are destroyed, resulting in blurred vision, bladder and bowel problems, breathing difficulties, slurred speech, tremors, and progressive paralysis. Causes unknown, but has been linked to stress. The disease affects more women than men and is more prevalent in northern countries than the tropics.

Diet:
Low-fat diet. Decrease saturated fats and increase omega-3 by eating plenty of fish.

Vitamin B12, DHA, flaxseed oil, primrose and borage oil, glutathione, lipoic acid, magnesium, selenium, anti-oxidants.
