RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS

A form of arthritis, a chronic inflammatory disease that affects the whole body, but especially the joints of the hands, wrists, feet, ankles and wrists. It is an autoimmune disorder, marked by fatigue, joint stiffness and swelling, low-grade fever, weight-loss. Risk factors are genetics, lifestyle, nutrition, food allergies, abnormal bowel permeability, bacteria.

Diet:
Same as for arthritis.

Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), fish oil, dietary antioxidants, vitamins B5, E, C, selenium, zinc, bromelain.

Curcumin, ginger, devil's claw.
