Pineapple

A delicious tropical fruit and the principal source of a proteolytic enzyme called bromelain, useful for breaking down proteins. Hence it helps the digestion of proteins, the dissolution of blood clots, and at the same time it has antibacterial and antiviral properties. Its high manganese content may help prevent osteoporosis and attendant bone fractures.
Caution: Pineapple may cause a skin allergy to some people.
