Ingredients:
2 large ripe pears, stoned, peeled
Juice of 1 lemon
1 clove garlic, mashed
4 tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons finely chopped celery
1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Pinch of pepper

Recipe:
1. Put all ingredients in blender or food processor and blend until smooth
Serves:
1 cup
Notes:
Spread on whole wheat toast and top with chopped lettuce. The filling may also be used to stuff tomatoes which have been peeled and scooped.
