1/2 cup raisins

1/4 cup Apple Sauce
1/4 cup chopped dried prunes

2 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup chopped dried dates
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 cup hot tea

3 tsps. baking powder
1 egg white, lightly beaten
1. Soak the dried fruit in the hot tea and leave overnight.
2. When ready to make bread, add egg white and apple sauce to tea mixture.
3. Sift flour and combine with salt and baking powder in a bowl.
4. Stir dry ingredients into the tea mixture. Blend well.
5. Put mixture in nonstick loaf pan sprayed with pan spray.
6. Bake in a preheated 375 F/190 C oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.
