Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups ground raw almonds
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. almond essence
2 Tbs. safflower or canola oil
1 egg white, slightly beaten

Recipe:
1. Combine ground almonds, and baking powder in a bowl.
2. Mix in the almond essence, oil and egg white.
3. Work mixture with hands to form a firm but moist dough. If dough is too dry add a little milk.
4. Press the mixture into the bottom and sides of a greased pie dish.
5. Bake in a 375 F/190 C oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
