Ingredients:
2 round steaks (1-pound/450g each), cut 1-inch/2.5cm thick
4 tablespoons olive or salad oil
2 medium onions, sliced
1 small clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 cup bean sprouts
1 medium green pepper, cut into strips

Recipe:
1. Cut steaks into thin short strips.
2. Heat oil in skillet and saute onions until golden brown.
3. Add beef and saute until light brown.
4. Add garlic, salt and pepper and saute for 1 minute longer.
5. Stir in soy sauce, cover and cook 5 minutes.
6. Add bean sprouts and green pepper.
7. Cover and cook for 5 minutes longer.

Serving Suggestion
Serve with Chinese Green Beans and a Cole Slaw Salad with Low-fat Mayonnaise dressing. Alternatively, serve with a Mushroom and Zucchini Salad .
