Ingredients:
Pizza base:
1 1/2 cups ground raw almonds
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbs. olive or canola oil
2 Tbs. skim milk

1 cup canned or fresh tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
1 cup canned mushrooms, thinly sliced
1/4 cup thinly sliced green pepper
1/4 cup thinly sliced onion (optional)
1/4 cup chopped smoked ham (optional)
2-ounce/36g can anchovies (optional)
1/4 tsp. oregano
6 ounces/170g part skim milk Mozzarella cheese, sliced

Recipe:
1. Preheat oven to 375 F/190 C.
2. To prepare pizza base, combine dry ingredients together in a bowl.
3. Stir in the oil and milk. If dough is dry add a little more milk.
4. Work dough with hands to form a firm but moist dough.
5. Press dough into a greased 10-inch/25cm pizza dish.
6. Bake for 15 minutes, or until firm and golden brown; remove from oven and cool.
7. Spread chopped tomatoes, sprinkle with salt.
8. Arrange mushrooms, green pepper, onion and chopped ham, or anchovies if you like.
9. Sprinkle oregano; top with cheese slices.
10. Bake in a 375 F/200 C oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until cheese is nicely melted.
11. Cool for 3-5 minutes and then cut into pieces and serve.
